Feel the Heartbeat of Sumo in Tokyo!
Discover the dynamic world of Sumo, a living tradition in Japanese culture. Catch a glimpse of the sumo wrestlers' rigorous morning training sessions, held almost daily in their stables, while the Grand Sumo Tournaments are held in Tokyo only 45 days a year.
In the sumo stables, where wrestlers live and train, a ring called "dohyo" takes center stage. Throughout this tour, guests sit in the designated area beside the ring, watching wrestlers train in and around the dohyo, with even a chance for a photo session with wrestlers after the practice.
Our chosen sumo stable is conveniently located near Asakusa and Tokyo Skytree, making it perfect for post-tour sightseeing. Occasionally, due to the sumo stable's practice schedule, we may visit another one near Subway Ryogoku station.
